Great Little Grill

I've really enjoyed using my Jumbo Joe! I did modify it a bit, adding a felt gasket around the lid, a thermometer under the top vent, and file handles on the vents themselves. On top of that, I purchased the Weber grate #7433 with the hinged sides for adding more fuel mid-cook. It's also handy to have the charcoal grate from a Smokey Joe (12" I believe) to replace the bottom charcoal grate in the Jumbo Joe when using a vortex. This is a solid grill, and in my opinion, has a lot more versatility than the Smokey Joe, which I also own, but rarely use.

The perfect small grill!

Absolutely love our Jumbo Joe. We tragically lost ours, along with our entire Weber family in a wildfire in January of 2025, so we were very excited to add the jumbo back into our lives. We’ve made steaks and chicken on this grill routinely since we purchased our replacement and we look forward to adding a bunch more meals before too long. Perfect size, perfect grill area, perfect everything! We don’t expect anything less from the king of all grilling companies, Weber!
