Weber Original Premium Charcoal Kettle Grill, 363 sq. in., Black

Had to give up my first Weber grill due to a move a decade ago. Moved again and got the improved version with the ash catcher and other accessories. Grill love even better second time around.

I always cooked on weber gas grills in the past and aside from the bi-annual grate and flavor bar replacements I loved grilling on them. Recently and after a cross country move I opted for a charcoal kettle grill. So far, no problems with the grill but there is/will be a learning curve. I am not sure if I would attempt to roast a turkey or prime rib roast on the charcoal grill like I did several times a year on my gas grills. Adding fresh charcoal and the nasty smoke smell does not seem like a good idea.

Best All Around Grill for Beginners and the Experienced alike.

Awful quality and customer service. I purchased a stealth premium kettle from Lowe’s and the grill has had so many quality controls issues. The legs and dampers had chipped paint and grill grate would not sit flat, it would wobble no matter what orientation it was in on the grill. To address the grate issue I was first sent a new grate, that didn’t fix the problem. I was first told the chipped paint didn’t affect performance so they treated that like a non issue until a customer service “specialist “ started to reply to the emails. He got replacement parts sent out for the parts with chipped paint then also told me the prongs that hold the grill grate were misaligned and I was being sent a new bowl as well. The replacement bowl shows up with paint damage so I emailed Weber back about that issue then they ghosted me. Never responded back. I had to find their number on the better business bureau website to escalate the issue. Beware of the awful quality control on their products and their horrible customer that just stops responding. Very unprofessional from someone who was a “specialist” lmao. I will not be purchasing any Weber products in the future. Which is a shame because their summit Kamado looked sweet but no way I’m dropping that kind of money when their quality is very inconsistent and poor customer service to support you when you have issues.
