Q&As

Q: How can you attach this to a standard 2" UTV hitch

2 Answers
  • Fimco Industries
A: Thank you for reaching out! To attach the trailer tongue to a standard 2" UTV hitch receiver, you will need a hitch pin (not included with the sprayer). Since the sprayer is designed to be universal, it requires this standard pin to secure the tongue's clevis-style hitch to your UTV’s drawbar. You can find a compatible hitch pin at most hardware stores, farm supply centers, or the same location where you purchased the sprayer.

  • Fimco Industries
A: The boom does have breakaway arms to allow the outer boom to fold backwards if you should hit something, as well as allow the boom to fold up for storage.

Q: Can I replace the spray tips with tips that have a different spray pattern ? Will standard tips fit this sprayer ?

1 Answer
  • Fimco Industries
A: When choosing tips, you need to watch the GPM the tips are rated for and not exceed what the pump will put out at certain pressures. Also, need to keep in mind that the orientation of certain tips may different than others. Also, some tips may require a different type cap. The tips can be changed out, but you need to keep the aforementioned things in mind when choosing tips.

Q: Can i get it pr assembled

1 Answer
  • Fimco Industries
A: John, the sprayer is mostly assembled, other than the boom and a few small parts that go on the sprayer. This does not come preassembled. You could talk to your local Tractor Supply and see if they would assemble it for you, but I'm sure there probably would be a charge, not sure, as I don't work for TSC. I just know I've talked to customers that have said their local Tractor Supply had assembled their sprayers.

Q: Does it have a chemical agitator?

1 Answer
  • Fimco Industries
A: Kate, thank you for your interest in the Workhorse 60-gallon trailer sprayer from Tractor Supply. This sprayer does have a manifold on it with a bypass line, that you can crack open to allow circulation back into the tank to help a little with agitation. Doing so, also decreases your pressure, if opened too much.

    Challenging Assembly Sprayer

I haven’t used this sprayer yet. The illustrations were, at best, poor and without written instructions. I finally managed to assemble it but getting the hose clamps on to the boom was another challenge. I have another Workhorse sprayer that is just a tank and spray hose that has worked very well, so I’m hoping that this one will prove to be worth the expense.

Thank you for your purchase of the Workhorse 60-gallon trailer sprayer from Tractor Supply. We have been diligently updating those manuals this year, as we acquired the Workhorse sprayer line last year and have heard that those original manuals have not been the greatest. The manual for this sprayer was just recently approved by our engineering team and if you would like an updated manual that not only gives better instructions for assembly, but also better parts break downs and more information, please contact our customer service team at 888-433-6631 and they'll be happy to send you one. Looks great, Poor delivery, late delivery.

Product looks good, arrived on a pallet and dropped off at my mail box not at the house as paid for. It has rained every other day here and you need a dry place to assemble this product. This product arrived 7 days after it was scheduled to be delivered. Driver said TCS always does this!

Thank you for your purchase of the Workhorse 60-gallon trailer sprayer. Not sure why it took so long to receive the item. We fulfilled the order and every one of those units that we've sold in the last two months have shipped out within two business days of us receiving the order, some even shipped the same day. All depends on when we received the order to start. As for delivery, once an item ships, it's out of our hands. We do hope that once the rain stops and you get the sprayer assembled that you'll like it and it handles your spraying needs. FimcoInc

Better put your thinking cap on for assembly

First, I am very handy and mechanically inclined but the directions for this are horrible. Got it all together and only 3 of 7 sprayers worked. Reached out to the company but never got a response. Trouble shot it myself. 4 of the sprayers would not work with the filters installed. That being said I sprayed 60 gallons of herbicide on my acreage (with filters removed and all 7 sprayers working) and it was very nice with this sprayer. Could even spray the fence row with the wand. I am hoping this will be a worthwhile purchase.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Thank you for your purchase of the Workhorse 60-gallon 3PT sprayer from Tractor Supply. Sorry that the check valve strainers on four of the nozzles weren't working. Could be the ball in there may be sticking to the spring. Try tapping them on a hard surface to try and help loosen them a little, but also please call our customer service team at 888-831-0027 and they'll be happy to assist you and get you out replacements. Not sure how you reached out, as our team is exceptional with taking care of the customers. Fimco acquired the Workhorse sprayer line last year and we have heard from several customers about hose original manuals. We are currently updating those manuals to be more uniform with our own sprayer manuals, reflecting more information and assembly instructions. We have about 2/3rds of them done awaiting final approval from our engineering team. Unfortunately, this isn't one of the ones currently awaiting approval, we're waiting on the files from the engineering team to start the manual. Overall, we hope you'll be happy with your new sprayer. FimcoInc
